about

The "rediscovering analog sounds" trend is having a lot of hype lately, between labels declaring their eternal love for vinyl-only releases and producers that spend loads of money to buy machines built before they were even born because it's cool; E-dward!, instead, has always had a passion for analog synths and drum machines, and it's evident in his album.

The way he speaks to machines and machines speak through him is absolutely unique, and somehow manages to merge the sci-fi aspiration towards outer space typical of "classic" techno to courage and relentlessness that only somebody who was born in 1988 can have.

The analog feeling is thus clearly evident in every hihat and in every clap, which taste like valves, circuits and dangling cables, but what makes the album really stand out is the long lasting, sincere love for this kind of sounds, that emerges in every track; there's no trends here, there's just E-dward!'s (and ours) taste.
